We are back at Paws With A Cause’s Retriever Fever this year doing a Headshot Fundraiser. Retriever Fever is a friendly get together of dog owners to meet and learn about Paws With a Cause and see who can raise the most money for Paws – Labrador owners or Golden Retriever owners.

There will be assistance dog demos, vendors, door prizes, food trucks and US!! There will also be a large fenced in area for all pups to play.

The event is Saturday, September 10th from 11am to 2pm at Picnic Area Park outside of John Ball Zoo, 1300 W. Fulton St. Grand Rapids

You do not have to own a Golden or a Lab to attend this event or be part of our Headshot Fundraiser – any and all breeds are welcome.

TOGETHER – last year we raised $840 for this incredibly worth cause – come out and help us raise even more this year!

Who’s excited for fall photo season? We are – we can’t wait to meet all of your adorable pups and create beautiful images of them. We simply photograph THE BEST dogs in West Michigan.

We will have two session options this fall – our regular Signature Session and a short, dog portrait only session, the Fall Dog Portrait Mini Session (I know…we are so imaginative!).

A pitbull mix sits in the tall green grass at Johnson Park.
A Dutch Shepherd puppy sits on a boulder and looks off to his left in Grand Rapids, MI.
A man and woman crouch down next to their black and white dog to be photographed in Rockford, MI.
A male Corgi chases his tennis ball at Johnson Park in Grand Rapids, MI.
Three Great Danes stand side by side in a park.
A female Daisy dog sits in colorful fall leaves in Ada, MI.
Two pitbull mixes sit in white posy wild flowers near Grandville, MI.
Two Yorkies run side by side through the grass near Grandville, MI.
A male Aussie sits near to a Chihuahua under pines trees in Grandville, MI.
A female Doberman stands in tall green grass at a Kent County, West Michigan park.
A male mini Bernerdoodle runs through the fall leaves chasing his orange and blue ball.
A man and woman pose for a family portrait with their three Great Danes.

Our Signature Session, as always, does not have a time limit and the pricing is based on how many pups will be photographed. The base session starts is $295 for 1 pup and each addition pup is $75, up to a max of 4 dogs. You decide what images you want – action, portraits, headshots, candid and/or group images (if more than one pup is involved in the session) – family portraits (humans and their pups) are included, but optional. The session location is mutually agreed upon and in and around the GR metro area (within 20 miles of our GR home base). More details on our Signature Session can be found on our pricing page.

The Fall Dog Portrait Mini Session is available mid-September through the beginning of November. This $99 session is for 1 pup – portraits or headshots only (no action or family portraits) – 20 minutes – all of these sessions will take place at Johnson Park (2600 Wilson Ave SW – about 10 minutes from downtown GR, right off 196).

Both sessions include 3 digital photos – each digital photo comes with one high resolution file for printing and one matching social media file.

Regardless of the session, you will receive an online gallery in which you choose the images you want. Additional digital photos may also be purchased.

We have online schedulers set up for both sessions on our Fall Sessions page on our website. You will also find FAQs and a bit more information about the two sessions there as well.

A word about our Signature Session Online Scheduler – it lists every time we are available to do a session during the season, to give as many options as possible. However, there is no way we could possible do all of those sessions and get edited galleries to clients in a timely manner. We can only do 3-4 Signature Sessions a week – once 3 or 4 sessions are booked for any given week, we will be clearing out the scheduler for that week. So, if you really need a particular session date – book early.

The Fall Dog Portrait Mini Sessions are offered throughout the season on varying weekday evenings each week at 4:30pm, 5:00pm and 5:30pm. We might be able to accommodate you on a weekend, if we can pair it up with a Signature Session (your mini session would take place before another client’s Signature Session) – contact us for availability.

Questions? You can fill out the contact form below and we will get back to you or email us at trish@tailwaggerphoto.com – text or call us at 517-990-5630.

Again to book one of these session, please see our Fall Session website page – both session online schedulers are listed on this page.
